I love my pet dogs. I ordered special dog birthday invitations to send out to everyone I want to invite. It made more fun to put my sweet dog treats on the cards as a surprise for the invited.

Hi Ashley,

I visited your site and loved your post! Happy Birthday to Peanut. I had no idea that doggy ice cream exists, I will look for it in my area. I’m sure my Bo would love it!

I have not hosted a full-out dog party for my dogs, but we always celebrate their birthdays in fun ways. I just wanted to add two more tips: Use tissue paper to wrap the dog’s gifts because then s/he can open it her/himself. Also, my dogs love celebrating with dog ice cream, which is now readily available in most grocery store freezers. I just wrote about my dog, Peanut’s, 8th birthday on my blog and included pictures of her unwrapping and eating her birthday ice cream! Check it out if you get a chance!

If you are planning a birthday party for your dog, then there are many ideas to arrange a party such as dog cakes, birthday bones, candles, and so much more.

Special days would usually consist of a health portion of table food or a cheap steak bought just for her. With my current beastie, I think a birthday party just might be in order. Thanks for the tip!
